Enrico DiCesare, affectionately known as Harry, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026, in Arcadia, California. He was born in Trenton, New Jersey, on July 28, 1937, and lived a life that was richly woven with love, adventure, and service.
Harry leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish the memories they made together. He was deeply loved by his family, which includes his daughters, Laura DiCesare and Patty Vredenburg; his son, David DiCesare; and his brother, Julius DiCesare. He took great pride in being a grandfather to Michelle McGraw, Bryan Aguilar, Nicole Aguilar, Heidi Vredenburg, Holly Vredenburg, Heather Vredenburg, Scott Vredenburg, and Hope Davis. Harry was also blessed with 15 great-grandchildren, whom he adored.
Harry dedicated a significant part of his career to public service as an Electrical Inspector for the Department of Water & Power before retiring. In addition to his professional accomplishments, he served honorably in the Army National Guard, where he was called to active duty during the Watts Riots of 1965, demonstrating his commitment to his country and community.
With a zest for life, Harry found joy in simple pleasures. He had a fierce love for horse racing, enjoyed the thrill of card games, and cherished quiet moments spent fishing. He was an adventurous spirit, traveling often and creating lasting memories. Harry's zest for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Preceding him in death were his beloved wife, Patricia DiCesare, and his son, Harry DiCesare. Their memories will live on in the hearts of those who continue to celebrate his life.
Services to honor Harry will be held on March 11, 2026, at Douglass & Zook - Chapel of the Foothills in Monrovia, California. A funeral service will commence at 11:00 a.m., welcoming friends and family to gather and share their fond memories of this remarkable man. Harry may have departed from this world, but the memories he created will remain etched in the hearts of many.
