August 25, 1924 — April 28, 2011

Eftihia Metzidis, 86, passed away peacefully at her home April 28, 2011, in Los Angeles, CA. She was born in Greece to Artemios and Theano Markoulakis. Her husband preceded her in death. Eftihia was a loving wife, mother, and Yiayia. She will never be forgotten. She is survived by her sons, Chuck (Kathy) Metzidis and Joseph Metzidis. Two brothers; Taso Markoulakis and John Markoulakis, and four grandchildren. A Trisagion service will be Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at 6:00pm, and the Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at 10:30am, both held at Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Church, 1324 South Normandie Avenue, Los Angeles, CA. Interment will follow at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
