Edie passed away peacefully at her home May 15, 2013 at the young age of 95. She was born in Kansas City, MO on Feb. 5, 1918, to the late Richard M. and Frances B. Heinrich. The family moved to Los Angeles in 1920 and she has lived in the area ever since, moving to Arcadia in 1948.

Edie is survived by her loving husband William James Burnside (better known as 'Burnie') and by her four children: Linda A. Cravens (Wallace); Douglas A. Wilson (Karen); Larry M. Wilson (Sharon, deceased); and Patricia E. Ver Burg (Robert). She is also survived by step children: Pamela Cadman, Steven Biggs, Richard Biggs, Alan Burnside, Douglas Burnside, and David Burnside. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Edie was predeceased by her first husband Cecil M. Wilson and her second husband Harvey C. Biggs; also by her brother Charles Heinrich, sister Grace Kueneman, and stepson Jeffrey Biggs.

We love you, Mom/Nana/Edie, and we will miss you!

Vigil Service will be Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Douglass and Zook Chapel of Remembrance, Monrovia. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, May 20, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Temple City. Internment will follow at Live Oak Memorial Park in Monrovia.
