March 21, 1923 — July 5, 2011

Cecil “Tom” Thomas Moore was born on March 21, 1923 in Detroit , MI and passed away on July 5, 2011 in Monrovia, CA. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Tom began his career with the Pasadena Fire Dept in 1948 and retired after 30 years as Assistant Chief. He is survived by his children Greg (Lili), Dennis (Terry), Patrick (Ivone), Michael, David (Liz), Deborah (Jim) and Rory (Michelle); 23 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Tom was predeceased by his wife Barbara and his sons Sean and Kevin. HE was the “patriarch” of our family. He was the “go to” guy for his extended family. We miss him but know that we shall be with him one day soon. A visitation was held on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 5:00 pm and a Rosary at 6:30 pm at Douglass & Zook Chapel of Remembrance Funeral Home in Monrovia. Funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Monrovia with burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
