A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Catherine passed away peacefully on Friday, August 23rd, at Santa Teresita Hospital, Duarte, Calif. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and extended family. A memorial service is planned for Wednesday, August 28th. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation in Catherine Mae Smith's name to the Michael J Fox Foundation, dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease.
Catherine devoted many hours volunteering for many different causes, especially for the Monrovia Senior Center. She also enjoyed crafts, baking, camping and playing cards. She had a great sense of humor and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
