Carolyn Jean Turner, 61, passed away May 8, 2010. A long time resident of Duarte, Carolyn is survived by her beloved husband, Jerry Turner; her children, Dealondra Kemp, Robert Morris and DeRon Turner; her step children, Jerry Turner, Jr., Derrick Williams and Trina Turner; her father, J.D. Walker, brothers, Robert & James Cox; sisters, Doris Boyd, Rosemary Bass & Betty Jean Walker, and many grand and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Vertilla Cox; step son, Melvin Turner, and brother, Willie Cox. Visitation hours beginning at 5:00 PM on Thursday, May 13 and the Funeral Service at 10:00 AM on Friday will both be held at the Douglass & Zook Chapel of Remembrance, 600 E. Foothill Blvd. in Monrovia.
