McGOWAN - Carmel C. McGowan, passed away February 17, 2011 at age 83. Carmel is survived by her sons, James, Mike, Matthew & Joe McGowan; her daughter, Mary Ludwig; brother, John Broe, and her grandchildren, Megan & Joshua. Visitation hours beginning at 5:00 PM on Thursday, February 24, and a Vigil Service at 7:00 PM will both be held at the Douglass & Zook Chapel of Remembrance in Monrovia. A Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM on Friday will be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Monrovia with interment at Resurrection Cemetery to follow. Care entrusted to Douglass & Zook Chapel of Remembrance FH in Monrovia (626-358-3244).
