Betty Faye Smith, age 88, of Paris, Arkansas died peacefully Monday, September 14, 2009, in Duarte, California. Preceded in death by her husband Desmond Taylor Smith. She is survived by son Lester C. Smith of Rockledge, Florida and niece, Kay Young of Arcadia, California. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Monrovia, and was a retired after working in the front office of the Foothill Junior High School of Arcadia. Arrangements are being handled by Douglass & Zook Chapel Of Remembrance.
