Bernice C. Thorpe, 80, passed away December 6, 2014. She was retired from the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District. Bernice enjoyed square dancing, playing golf, camping, and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Randy (Patricia) Thorpe and Robin Osbon; grandchildren, Joshua, Steven (Bonnie), Julie (Richard), Lisa, and Kimberly (Kevin); and great grandsons, Colston and Parker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Art Thorpe. A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 10 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Douglass & Zook Chapel of the Foothills. Her service will be held Thursday, December 11 at 11:00 AM also at Douglass & Zook followed by interment at Rose Hills Memorial Park.
