Bernard E. Kalensher

Bernard E. Kalensher passed away on February 3, 2021 due to complications of COVID-19. He was 93. Bernard grew up in Beaumont, Texas. Following service in the Navy, he graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a PhD in physics. He worked at Caltech's Jet Propulsion Lab, then later at Electro-Optical Systems in Pasadena, a division of Xerox, and Phrasor Scientific in Duarte, California. He was co-author of a number of scientific papers while at Phrasor. Hobbies included skiing and handguns. He was a lifelong member of the National Rifle Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Douglass & Zook Funeral and Cremation Services, Monrovia, California.
