Benito Chua Tiong was born on March 11, 1936 in Dagupan, Philippines to Tat and Tai Tiong. He passed away on May 11, 2009 in his home in Arcadia, California. Benito enjoyed recreational sports such as bowling, golfing, and basketball. He was a fan of the Lakers. He was also a great cook and enjoyed culinary cuisines. He enjoyed fruits from around the world. He is survived by his loving wife, Simplicia, and his four loving children; Blaise, Sheila, Benedict, and Sophia. A visitation will take place on Thursday, May 14, 2009 from 5:00-8:00 pm with a service at 7:00 pm at the Chapel of Remembrance Funeral Home, Arcadia, California. The funeral service will be at Holy Angeles Church, Arcadia, California on Friday, May 15, 2009 at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Rose Hills, Memorial Park, Whittier, California.
