SORIA-Belle Castro Soria, 87, of Monrovia, passed away at home July 28, 2010 with her daughter, Adriana Shepherd, great granddaughter, Carli Acevedo and devoted caregiver, Brandy Woods by her side. Born May 23, 1923 to Earnest Castro and Corina Reyes Castro in Floresville, Wilson County, TX, Bell was always proud of being a natural born Texican. She is survived by siblings, Vincent Castro, Virginia Sandoval and Annie Martinez of Santa Barbara; Daughters, Antoinette Earhart of Stockton, Olivia Soria of Arcadia, Nancy Davis of Covington, WA, Jo-Anne Acevedo of Grants Pass, OR and many grand and great grandchildren. Always quick with a joke, a song, or a dance, Belle was full of life and fun. A devoted Mother, she loved her family, gardening, music and dancing. Belle is resting now and will be deeply missed and always remembered by all who knew and loved her. Services will be held Friday, August 6, 2010 at 10:20 a.m. at Douglass & Zook Chapel of Remembrance, 600 E. Foothill Blvd., Monrovia, CA 91016.
