Barbara White Young, a.k.a. Barbara Carter Brock, 76, born on December 28, 1944, in Lakewood, OH, passed away July 24, 2021 in her Sierra Madre, California residence caused by a tragic accident. She attended Arcadia High School, earned a bachelor's degree from University of La Verne, and had worked at Kaiser Permanente until retiring in 2012.
Survivors include her son, Mel Brock White, of Palmdale, California, and two older brothers, Richard Brock and Charles Brock, their spouses, children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Charles Brock and Helen Louise Carter, and daughter, Jenna Marie White.
A memorial service will be held at Douglass & Zook Funeral/ Cremations, 600 E. Foothill Boulevard, Monrovia, California, 91016, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., on Thursday, August 19, 2021.
