TYLER - Barbara Becher Tyler, born April 28, 1930 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed peacefully in her Arcadia, California home on May 21, 2011. She is following her beloved husband of 53 years, Craig Everest Tyler. She is survived by her 5 children, 14 grandchildren and 3 siblings who will all miss her dearly. Barbara was passionate about her family and her faith. In addition to making memories, she captured them in treasured photographs. She was inspiring to many school children during her tenure as a teacher's aide in the Arcadia School District. Empathy and compassion were gifts that she invested in each of her relationships. She was an avid gardener at home as well as at Apple Canyon Ranch where her thousands of daffodils will be appreciated for years. "Half a glass of water, is it half full or half empty?"
