Anna Mae Lindsay

A resident of California from 1931 until she was called home to rest by the Lord on July 5, 2011. Anna Mae was born to Walter Lindsay and Sophia Wilson Cobb on December 14, 1908 in Kansas City, KS. She attended and graduated high school in the city of Monrovia. She was married to Nathanial William Fuget, Sr. and gave birth to their only child Nathanial William Fuget, Jr. in November of 1939. Anna Mae worked in numerous fields including domestic assistant, in-home care for the elderly and catering for many years until her retirement. Anna Mae became a devoted servant to the lord and member of the Open Door church family in 1970 alongside her mother Sophia Cobb. Anna Mae's dedication to the Lord was evident in all she did, serving in the Open Door community for more than 3 decades as an active member of the church. She moved to the greater San Diego area to live with her grandson Dante Fuget, his wife and children in December of 2003 where she lived out the remaining years of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents; Walter Lindsay and Sophia Wilson Cobb and son Nathanial William Fuget, Jr. She is survived by her grandson Dante Fuget, granddaughter Michelle Fuget, Daughter-in-law Beverly Fuget, three Step-grandchildren, Diane Logan, Jeff & Michael Trammell, three great grandchildren: Andre Fuget, Monique Clark, Hannah Nitzsche and Alexis Logan, and three great-great grandchildren Amaya, Aliyah and Caleb Clark. Funeral Service was held on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 12:00 P.M. at Open Door Church of God and Chris, 522 E. Cypress Ave. Monrovia, California 91016. Burial to follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whitter, CA.
