Ana Rivera

Ana Delia Rivera, the beloved matriarch of a large extended family, passed away on May 20, 2025, in Arcadia, California, at the age of 89. Born on January 12, 1936, in Yauco, Puerto Rico, Ana was a warm and nurturing presence, filled with love and kindness that enriched the lives of her family and friends.

Ana is remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family. She is survived by her sister Blanca, her daughter, Provi, and her son, Elias. Ana also cherished her relationships with her son-in-law, Jim, and her daughter-in-law, Irma. As a grandmother, she delighted in the company of her grandchildren, including Jason, Anita, Madeleine, Sylvia, Christian, Elias, Sasha, and Becky, as well as many great grandchildren who will fondly carry forward her legacy of love.

Ana was preceded in death by her husband, Ismael Rivera, and her son, Juan Rivera, as well as by her sisters Ramona, Antonia, Vidalina, and Alba, and her brother Jose. The memory of these beloved individuals will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew them.

Family and friends are invited to honor Ana's life during the visitation on June 2, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Douglass & Zook - Chapel of the Foothills, located at 600 E Foothill Blvd, Monrovia, CA 91016. A funeral service will be held the following day, June 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, located at 740 South Shamrock Avenue, Monrovia, CA 91016, concluding at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at 12 noon at Live Oak Cemetery, located at 200 E. Duarte Rd., Monrovia, CA 91016.

Ana Rivera's spirit will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her life serves as a testament to the love of family and the bonds that unite us across generations.
