Alice E. Gonzales

March 9, 1920 — October 18, 2017

Mrs. Alice Gonzales came to Sierra Madre in her early teens and lived there most of her life. She remembered getting the Red Car in the middle of town. She attended local schools and always valued having an education. She instilled that value in every person she met.

Mrs. Gonzales is survived by her children Larry Gonzales, Peter Gonzales and Angelita Gonzales. She also has three grandchildren and five great grandchildren who will miss her dearly. She is predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Lawrence Gonzales.

A Viewing will be held on Friday, 10/27, beginning at 5:00 p.m. at Douglas & Zook Mortuary in Monrovia. A Mass will be held on Saturday, 10/28, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Rita Catholic Church in Sierra Madre. Her Internment will be at the Pioneer Cemetery in Sierra Madre.
